Light weight I wanted to get a gift for my brother and it's a perfect gift pack. Never used it but I hope it does the trick

I'm beginner in fishing so I can't compare with other. Also, I don't want expensive one because I don't now I will like to fishing or not. The product came with a nice small case but have everything I need, rod is very light and looks durable and nice fishing tackles. I'm planning to try it this summer. I can't wait to catch some fish.

I like this combo and is very convenient(fishing line, fishing lures kit and accessories) The smooth is outstanding and the reel is great. The reel fastener come loose at first then I managed to overcome, maybe because I'm new to this.Overall is a good combo, and I'm happy with it. I'm not do any heavy fishing.Update: My son is loving this kits also after I teaches him how to use it, and he's been using it since. He's been fishing on the Lake. No complain yet, so far so good. Recommend

Superb value for money and portability. I could just slip it underneath my car seat and be prepared for those unplanned fishing trips. Living in an area with plenty of waterways, i couldnt be more happier and excited.

Brough for my son to teach him how to fish.perfect for a small car and it's very light.He loves the set.The only con is it's not easy to keep the pole firm steady.but for the price and all accessories, I would recommend to buy.

Fantastic collapsible fishing rod with everything I need in a neat little package. I Bought a 2.1 meter rod that perfect for my needs. I don't need to think about going home to get my regular rod or worry about it bouncing around in the back of my truck. It fits under my seat and assembles in less than one minute. This is a great looking combo. I like the feel and fit and finish of this combo. The collapsible rod is super convenient. I am able to toss it in a backpack or the back of my car and not have to fight with long pieces. It comes with a pouch to store the rod in and offers some protection. The reel is smooth and has a good feel to it. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Bought this fishing rid for my husband for Christmas. Having limited knowledge and going off of what I’d researched on google, I came across this fishing rod and bought it, unsure of what we’d receive. When the fishing rod came (very quickly might I add) he immediately fell in love with it. He hasn’t used it yet, but has plans and said it feels pretty decent quality for the price. I’m a very happy customer!

Took this out one time and on the very first cast the top part of the rod snapped completely off. It broke about 12 inches down the Rod. *** update, the seller reached out and made it right by sending me a new rod with no issues.

Very good rod used it in a pond it was great really sensitive really light can't wait to use it in the ocean

Loved it! The stuff you need for your next fishing trip is in this kit, and putting it away is no problem. You think telescopic fishing rods are weak, NOT this one! Casting with 2oz of weight is not an issue. And Magreel have an AWESOME customer service too!

I bought these fishing rods for my husband and myself, and unfortunately, they did not perform as expected. However, when I wrote a review, the supplier contacted me immediately and offered to replace the fishing rods or a refund which is more than we could have hoped for. Their service is appreciated.

This is a pretty nice little travel rod/reel setup. The rod is very lightweight and telescopes and retracts pretty easily. I was thoroughly impressed with the reel more than anything. It is super smooth, quick, and I'd honestly say the reel alone is worth the price of the entire get-up.The one thing I will point out though... definitely set your drag appropriately and don't attempt to bed the rod too much. I've had a couple of these travel rods and the rods are all pretty similar in the fact that they're not meant for a ton of tension. If you get snagged, do NOT whip the rod to jerk your lure loose. Don't bend the rod over to "test it out" or anything like that. It can and will snap. But if you handle it right, you can land decent size fish on it without breaking anything.Plus, if the rod snaps you can just order a new rod or use a cheap uglystick or something. The reel is very salvageable. The little tackle box it comes with is a nice little bonus. Has quite a few swivels and a few decent lures in it. The travel case is great, too. I actually don't fully break down my rod so that it's easier to quickly pull it out the case, telescope the rod, extend the line, throw the handle on the reel and go at it. If you want it to go back in the case like it's supposed to you have to take the whole thing apart again.Overall, awesome little setup. The line that's included was very twisted which caused a few minor issues on the first 10-15 casts, but after a while it worked itself out. Other than that, love this thing and will be heading out again this weekend to use it even more.
