Complete fly fishing combo praised for beginners and experienced anglers. Customers said "great quality" rod and reel, "lightweight and easy to set up," and "casts beautifully." Includes convenient storage case. However, included flies are "poor quality" and should be upgraded. "Very good value" overall for an all-in-one starter set.
- Everything you need to start flyfishing! Cast beautifully with no issues whatsoever.
- Excellent all-in-one set to get started. We caught several fish the first time out!
- Great deal for anyone looking at getting into fly fishing. Well made, good quality.
Took out for the first time today and loved it. It handed bass, crappie and all sorts of perch. The flies it came with are trash and the case is a little weird but the combo itself is great.
I like the fact that every thing I need is all in one case. Great quality. Good price.
WIFE. DISLIKE
Good value for someone who is a beginner or to see if they are interested. Nice products.
Purchased for Christmas gift to son , he is excited to use !
This Gonex fly fishing set is a great deal for anyone looking at getting into fly fishing. I'm newer to Fly Fishing and it seems to be a great set for beginners. The rod and reel seem to be well made, and are of good quality. The flies are decent, they are defiantly good to start out and learn with, but I would suggest buying some higher quality flies as well. Overall it is a great set for beginners and those who want to get into fly fishing.
I love this kit great case and a lot of times I end up choosing this over my other rods and reels
I replaced my old gear with this, looks to be good quality and value.
Not the cheapest but a very good value
Have never fly fished before, super excited to learn. I have nothing to compare it to but it came in good shape. It breaks down and packs well in its case, very lightweight.
Bought this at the recommendation of a good friend and previously a fellow teacher! He also has his own YouTube fishing channel! Road and Reel!
I'm newer to Fly Fishing and wanted to get my son into it as well. This Magreel Fly Fishing Rod set is a great set for beginners - it gets you set up and going. The rod and reel are well made, nice quality. They are lightweight and easy to get set up. The flies are ok, good to start but I have invested in higher quality flies too. Overall a great set as an entry into fly fishing.
I was so impressed with this fly fishing set.The case for easy storage is exactly what you underwriting in a well made case. This is an excellent gift idea for the fishing lover in your life. The price is reasonable and you can hardly get a better gift idea.Maybe they haven't tried fly fishing yet but get this amazing fly fishing set and they will love it.
Nice fly fishing set! Yes everything you need to start flyfishing is here! But I wouldn't reserve this just for beginners this is a nice set up, even the flies were nice! Was easy to set up, cast beautifully with no issues whatsoever. I find for the quality of the set the price to be a good value
This is my first fly fishing set ever, so I'm not very experienced. That being said, I was very impressed at how long the rod was and how well it folded down. It fits so well in a relatively small bag, and is super light as well. The fly line seems to be of great quality, and you can cast it so far! I was very disappointed that the flies that came with this set were very poor quality and were literally feathers glued onto hooks. However, that's not too big of a deal for me since I already have a couple of flies that I normally use on my spinning rods. Excited to start this new "sport" and see where it takes me!
We keep fishing equipment around for the grandchild who wants to try fishing. We're close to the river, and it's fairly easy to catch a fish there, so it turns out to be great fun and satisfying. Nice lightweight rod and reel to get a young fisherman started. Nice equipment.
This is an excellent all-in-one set to get started with fly fishing. Quality is great and there is a decent variety of flies included. We caught several fish the first time out with this and had much better luck than our other baitcasting setup. The rod is easy to assemble and disassemble, and so easy to store back in its case.
